I want to be able to craft some real great ideas into songs of all me. I want to be able to play at least 4 tracks out of sequence and put them back to be played simultaneously. I don't really see anything like this listed in the descriptions of 4 tracks, but maybe someone could help me find one. I'm currently looking at a used Yamaha MT120. Could this do the trick? Thanks, Ryan

The Portastudio type things will let you record a track then overdub or play along to the original track. If thats what you mean...yes.

I use a Yamaha MD4s for all of my homerecording stuff, and I absolutely love it. It's so easy to use you wouldn't believe it.
