Can someone recommend a good quality passive PJ at a price point of less than $500? I like the looks of the squier vm jaguar but i'm just curious to see if theres any thing else out there. Thanks in advance!

Used MIM Precision Specials are available all the time for well under $500.

Ibanez SR1200s from the mid- to late 1990s! You can get them used between $300 and $400. I have one and I love it to death.

I would look very hard at the Squier Precision Special Standards ... can be had in the $150-250 range ... P body, PJ pups, and a VERY nice Jazz profile neck .. BTW, these are no longer made, so you will need to find used or NOS
