    hi all,

I've been offered this bass in a trade, I don't play fretless, but maybe I can trade it later. It's an Ibanez AFR fretless with active electronics, one magnetic pickup and a piezo bridge pickup.

how much is it worth? Are thiese basses any good?

    TIA

    No way!!! ;)

My StingRay is the only bass I'll never sell, well that and my new Lakland.
I've got another StingRay I got a couple of weeks ago just because it was a good deal and there is a guy interested on this MM, but I don't like iBanez basses and I'm thinking about doing the trade (+cash) to sell the Ibanez later.

That bass is actually pretty nice for an Ibanez, it was designed by Rolf Spuler from Switzerland.

It might be a good and cheap way to get a piezo-equipped good-sounding fretless.

that's not Percy Jones' bass, is it?
That might make it worth something...

not guttenburg bible rare, or the guitar Jack Ruby played rare, but rare none the less

And yes that's the style bass Percy Jones played for a while (I think he's back to Wal's)

If you want to get into fretless I can't see how you'd go wrong with it.

    Thanks for the replies.

I'm not interested in this bass, I'm going to sell it if I get it in the trade, that's why I want to know how much is worth in the used market...and no it's not Percy Jones' bass :^)
