Hi everyone, and welcome to my first TalkBass post. I'm wondering if anyone can help me with some basic information on a Carvin FET 1000 power amp. I just bought one used to complete my rig-on-a-budget and though I know it puts out 300w per side at 8ohms, which is what I was looking for, I can't seem to find any information on bridging the amp or what kind of loads the amp will take (bridged). Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks,
    J.

well.. unless you have a cab that is stereo or you have two cabs. you can't run both channels into your cab. Don't know much about the FET.

I paid for all my gear myself. Well, me and MasterCard.
Call Carvin's 800 number. They're usually pretty good about sending out manuals and schematics for obsolete gear.
