Info on older TBC basses

    I gave my nephew a TBC a while ago that was made in CA circa 2000 and has a jazz neck with single MM pup. I really can't find anything on these since they are now made in China, but I know this was an early US model. He is looking to move to a 5 string and was wondering if this was worth anything so he could put it toward a purchase. I think the S/N first digits are the model number but not sure.(its been a long time) Does anyone own/have owned these and what would be the value if any? Thanks

    I picked one up from the classifieds here for $350. I think you could get a bit more if you aren't desparate to sell. It's a very nice bass.

    New ones are now made in Missouri. China didn't last real long in the life of TBC.
