I played a Hamer 2 tek 5 fretted for two years.
Very nice bass for the money.
    B string is very good.
    Loved the 2 tek bridge

I've played three USA Hamer cruise basses,(2tek 4st, /Gotoh 4st.my fav/ and 2tek 5st). If you like the tight string spacing and you are Not looking for the best B String on a 34" 5st bass...this well made instrument can be for you.

Actually whats a good price for this bass? The particular one I am looking at is a 97' with the 2 tek in great condition with emg's, active pre. Thanks!

I've played one of these, a fretless 5 2tek, in a local store. I liked it a lot, almost as much as my Fender V. The 2Tek bridge adds too much weight to the body IMO, the darn thing is incredibly heavy. May not be as bad on the 4 string.

    Top quality bass.
