Information wanted ....

Can somebody give me more information about this bass ??
I've been told it's a bass from the 50's and made in Germany (?)
It's a fully carved cutaway bass and color is red like wine ...

I don't know Jeff, there's also a white binding on both sides of the fretboard,
never seen that before on a bass ....

 

It's a 3/4 by the way ....
