Injured bow grip?

    hey. i cant type very well at the moment, tonight i crushed the crap outta my right pointer finger moving a tv.

    any tips for a temporary bow grip? french bow.

  2. Hmm...temporary bow grip...nothing comes to mind. I feel your pain though, my right index managed to get caught in the business end of a rim-shot this morning while playing drums at church...Looks like we'll both be playing German bow for awhile. :spit:
  3. I'd probably sit out for a while, until you recover. You don't want to cause more damage.

    Actually, this would be a perfect time to learn how to play using only the weight of the bow if you haven't already. Use less bow and stay close to the frog and venture out to the tip for quiet playing. Once I learned what the bow does without adding weight my bowing became much more efficient.
