My brother had a nice looking computer, but I don't have pics.

    Those are way nicer though!
  3. My favorites are the toilet and the minifridge.:smug:

I've always wanted to do an original case mod.
  4. Just found this one too, and it is by far my favorite:

  5. ^I think I like the beer tap better.

the rusty metal one looks cool. Never really got into outside mods, only inside ones.

The one you've labeled "futuristic" can be purchased rather cheaply online.

  9. I just found that one in a Google search, didn't bother looking into it. That's probably my least favorite one though.

  11. The rusted one is a tribute to Half Life 2. It's supposed to be City 17-esque. Pretty sweet.

Yeah, I liked it too. The TIE fighter is also original.
  13. That *** one is simply the Army one opened up.

And it just goes to show what happens when you give nerds too much free time.

    Rock on

how would they sound with some Nordstrand Dual Coils?
  16. I like that solution. I saw a case in a shop here that had hollow plexiglass walls, filled with water, with fake fish floating inside. I thought that was quite neat.

This makes me want to build a custom computer case, but the last thing I need is another expensive, time consuming hobby.

I've been intrigued by this idea, but I would use something other than cooking oil. Rancid cooking oil would be disgusting. Transformer oil would be worth checking out and wouldn't break the bank.
  19. I could see it being really good for musicians' computers, since their main issue is fan and drive noise. Would it not make upgrading a mega pain in the neck though?
