  1. hey guys i have been carefully researching pick ups for my mim fender jazz and i am pretty sure about duncan basslines, but i have never switched out pick ups before, is it hard? how do i do it and what should i watch out for? thanks guys, John

    if you're replacing one set of passive pickups with another, it's hard to go wrong. Note where the existing wires go, unsolder the old pickup connections and solder on the new pickup connections to the same place on the pot.

    Jazz pickups usually have two wires, hot and cold. Hot goes to the lug on the pot, cold usually grounded to back of pot.

    I know it seems daunting, but it's very straightforward
