Install EMG 40P5 (NOS 2008) & EMG BQS (1990 NOS) ESP LTD B205

Back in 1993 when I bought my Steinberger, I also bought and EMG BQS to install in it since it did not have it. But after playing that bass, I never really needed the BQS and did not want to drill the extra hold needed. Anyway, I hit a new situation this year where I needed a new 5 string. I settled on an ESP B205. Great bass, not so great pups and preamp tho. Adequate I suppose. After some searching, I found that EMG had some NOS 2008 40P5s in stock...It was a lot of fun mating up the new solderless pups to the old soldered BQS. It sounds incredible now. So glad I hung on to that old BQS for so long.
