I just picked up a two way switch at GC, assuming its installation would be comparable to a pot. The switch however, has six points to attach to on the bottom instead of the three on my pot. Does anyone know how to put one of these in a P bass? Wiring diagrams? Instructions?
There are numerous places online with wiring diagrams...some are pickup manufacturers, but there are also a number of independent websites with diagrams. Do a Google search for "guitar wiring diagrams". You don't say whether it's a SPDT or DPDT - I assume with 6 contacts it's a DPDT - but you can also Google the meaning of those acronyms. A switch does not function the same as a pot. What is it you want to do? I can draw you a diagram for whatever.
