I bought Bartolini pickups for my Godin SD. (p/j setup). I have never replaced pickups before, nor have i even looked at the insides of a bass control cavity other than to replace a 9v. Should i let my local shop replace the pickups or is it a relatively easy thing to do? How much do you think they would charge to replace the pickups?

Ok so the pickups arrived and i know basicaly you have to take out the old pickups, de solder em and solder the new ones. Anything else i should know? I tihnk im gonna ask my brother/dad to doit since i have no experience with soldering guns.
