Got an email from a gentleman in this area who's looking for a bass instructor and wanted to know if I could help him find one. He's a Slabber, but wants to work on jazz, reading and theory. Since he didn't mention anything about wanting to work on FiElDy TaBz , I thought I'd post this here instead of in BG. He seems like a good guy. Anybody got any recommendations?

Well, you know, I've been thinking about what you said about how much I'd improve my playing by coming up to NY and getting my *** kicked on a regular basis that I thought I'd uproot my family and head Northeast to commence the bruising.

Nah, just trying to help out a fellow bassist on the path....

Yeah, I pointed him in your direction since his motives were honorable, wanting to learn jazz-flavored bass with the proper theory-- thought you might take on a slab student with that bent.

Thanks for the thought, but as I told him, NJ to KY would be one hell of a commute for lessons Did you have me confused with Dave K? And after all the expensive stuff I've bought from you.... :D

Yeah, I realized after I posted that.. DOH!

I meant to send him to you Dave, I mentioned Talkbass.com but my fingers typed the wrong name. The mind farts are coming more frequently these days.

I really need to hire someone so there's somebody around here to blame.
