    now here
    Hello All,

I have had a pair of Planet Waves instrument cables since 2001. I use them extensively whether practicing at home, with my band(s) , recording, or in live performances, they have stayed in great shape. (Own another pair of Evidence Audio Lyric HD cables solder broke off in one , and the other is just too noisy) Anyway recently as i was in a studio recording the sound engineer who pointed out that my cables are good and he used them until he realized that when you regularly plug them in , and since they have a wider than usual head they widen the input. I just tried several cables after that and they seem to be slipping out, including the Evidence Audio.

Is there any truth to this ?

    Seems like a logical probability.

First, the mechanism that holds the plug is spring (eventually any spring can be stretched/compressed beyond intended specs and second, you kind of proved it to yourself already....
