Neat idea. Sweetwater has them for $100. The 2 reviews on Amazon indicate the 30' range is correct an the receiver is powered by a 9v battery.

Would like to hear your results, jd.

The 30' could be a deal breaker for me. I quite often walk out to check the levels then get trapped out behind a wall of dancers. Actually a nice problem to have :D

But I bet the 30' is unobstructed.

Worked well tonight.. Stage was not huge, and I did not go out at sound check. so far no complaints.

Playing again Sat night and will go out durring sound check to test distance.

Heck! 30 feet? Thats as much reach as I get from my longest cord. so if it works, that's easily worth the $80 plus $5 shipping that I just found one on Ebay for to get rid of one more cord.

Nice price! And 30' is "as the crow flies", so it will get you farther than a 30' cord.

Let us know how it works.

Can't really hear enough on the video to tell for sure.

    | Edit: Ok, I cranked it up some more. It does sound fine. Nice.

I went to the website and scanned the doc.

It warns you to not use it in places with many wireless hotspots.
    :)

Being the low end junkie I am, I'm very tempted to get one.
Always wanted a wireless, and that has a tuner, too, which I need.
[have tuners, but my Korg Pitchblack pedal tuner died.]

I'm wondering about battery life. On my line 6 (x295 or something like that) the transmitter will last for 10 or so hours but the receiver will barely make it through a gig. I got a wall wart for it. Can you plug in the receiver or is it strictly battery?

You can plug in the receiver standed 9v

As for the wireless I tested it at work messing around with soundcheck mode and it seemed to stay green pretty far. I work in an hospital IT department so plenty of wifi everywhere

Thanks. Did the tuner work OK with bass?

EDIT: I think I got my questions answered in this nice review
