I just came across this article today. I found it interesting the that 412 had more midrange presence, but the 810 had more lows, as well as clarity and balance. This shattered my generalizations about 10s and 12s. Anyway, I'm sure both sound great. Paul Turner is using one of them here (can anyone help me out?) with a DB 750: What do you guys think?

    Thanks for that!

    I own a DB410 and DB112 and I actually like the 12" sound more.

The Berg NV cabs are actually a bit cheaper, too--at least here. I haven't tried any DB cabs yet, but I've tried the NVs and they're fantastic. The DBs sure do look cool, though.

Do the 12s sound more punchy, tighter and midrangey?

How does the slap tone on the DB112 compared to the GS112?
