Interesting custom rick 4001

    i stumbled across this when i was searching google for info on the steinberger basses. it is from Wilkat Guitars. It's a steinberger style headless rick 4001.

    looks good, don't you think?

    I think its called the "Rickenberger".

    Doesn't look too shabby. Love the Ric shape.

    The shape is exactly what i like about rics also. i never cared much for the pickguards, linings etc. it was always teh shape that made it so cool aesthetically.

    I was seriously considering ordering one last year, but held off for financial reasons. I would still like to have one done as a five string!

    I love Ric for the body shape, so if I can throw my favorite neck on, it's THAT much better. Can't stand the tiny necks on Rics.

    That is a Ric that I might buy, if they put a genuine AutumnGlo finish on it and real Ric PU's. What's the price like?

    Don't like it at all......looks kinda' barren, like a bare-bones refin. I'd prefer the genuine article.

    Have you tried a recent 4003? The necks ain't tiny.
