Interesting Ebay Finds...

    Heh, "Fully loaded" Jazz body indeed. Maybe he was trying to recreate the Fender Stu Hamm signature model, but missed? :confused:

    Another "DIY bass for sale" I saw was a vintage Gibson (not sure which model) with the signature "mudbucker" in the neck position, but with these huge, ugly routes for the EMG P/J set that the seller installed. I don't even want to know how much that hurt resale value.:scowl:

    It's pretty obvious that it's not a very good route job... I'm not sure what's worse. The route job or the pick guard. :)

    Hey now, I've had that pickguard on my similar jazz and I thought it looked very classy.

    Of course, as you can see in the pic in my sig, I have change the style to something a little more old school.
