    Noticed this on craigslist:

Weird. The guy says its a corvette 5-string, but the body style looks like a streamer. Was the corvette different long ago?

And I thought MEC pickups had exposed poles. Hmm...

Nope, corvette's always been what it is now to my knowledge...

    A. This guy's wrong.
    B. I smell a rat.

  3. No Dice. That's a streamer standard. They still make that in the Warwick rockbass series.

I believe it´s a Streamer Std. They looked like that before becoming what today is the Rockbass Series by Warwick.

Notice the pickups shape, 1 piece bridge and top mounted jack. I believe that body was made of Carolena and was offered in different colors. I can assure you that´s not Bubinga.

I had the chance to play one sometime ago and was less than impressed with them. The quality and tone is quite distant from a real Warwick.

The seller obviously made many mistakes and smells a bit fishy.

Non curved body and one-piece bridge.
