Intermittent Tone Pot Noise

I sold an Alembic Orion 5 string a couple of months ago. It was returned because the buyer said there was intermittent noise from the tone pot. Now that I`ve had it back for a month I haven`t heard any noise anywhere...anybody had experience with something like this?...don`t want to sell it again and have a problem...Thanks!
