    Talkbass is the only site that works, when I try to use google I can go to the main page but no search can be proformed it just keeps loading and nothing happens. I can get the main page of hotmail but I still can't log in, I've deleted all my history, cookies, and even reinstalled firefox. Nothing has fixed it so far, and IE just doesnt work at all.

    please help!!!

    thanks.

    but seriously, have you tried turning it off and on again, computer router and modem? (a similar thing happened to me the other day, i could only access 2 sites, i just had to turn my computer on and off)

    run a virus and spyware check as well.

  11. Call your ISP and ask them for help? Lol.

    Assuming you know what youre lookign for in firewall/router settings then I'm stumped :)

    Sounds like it might be a DNS issue. It's possible that some pages are coming up because they are cached locally.

    Go to a command prompt, type ipconfig /all and see what your DNS settings are. If they are blank, try typing ipconfig /renew and see if that info get repopulated from your DHCP server.

    try this assuming it is a windows system.
    start->run->cmd->ok
    ipconfig /flushdns

    run a spyware and av scan. If you are just having trouble with one pc this sounds like the problem. From what you are describing sounds like typical spyware interfering with the browser.

  17. try again after clearing your cache and cookies and other temporary files

    did you completely cut power to it? cos some modem's off buttons put them on standby rather than cut power.

    i know this sounds stupid but it happens.
