Invisible side dots on my fretless.

I need advice, my Rob Allen MB-2f has a lined, flamed, birds eye maple, highly glossed neck with tiny side dots which are virtually invisible in normal lighting, much less on stage. All my other fretlesses are unlined so the dots are at the intonation point, the RA, of course, has them at the normal fretted position, and the faint lines are not visible in the normal playing position. Since I also do some vocals, I like having an easy to see reference point.

I tried to find some Pro-Glow as was referenced in a "strings" thread, but got no response. I tried reflective tape, but the small strips don't pick up much light. I can't find a source for tritium dots (as used on gun sights).

I am communicating with SIMs LED, but it looks like this bass is not a good candidate for a neck only option, so my price probably goes up to $500 plus, and may have to be shipped to England. Not ideal IMO. Does anybody have any other suggestions?
