Edited 10-16-18 to include the XS and XR.

I’m very interested in hearing from new iPhone X-series owners as it rolls out. Let us hear the good and the bad! Note that I don’t care about how it compares to Android phones (No offense!). I want to hear from longtime iPhone users (such as myself, currently on an iPhone 8) what your experience is transitioning to the very different iPhone X series.

I don't think it's available to the public yet.

The official ship date is Nov 3rd but I’m seeing reports of orders arriving early.

If you hurry, you can get in line in front of the Apple store in Station Park, Utah. It's questionable as to whether you'll get one, though.

Yeah. It's crazy, man. Maybe there will be more people there after 5:00? I mean, if you're going to drop $1000 on a phone, you probably need a job. Right?

Full disclosure. I didn't take those. They are from a local online forum. One of the guys that runs that site works in the building next to the Apple store. He said they have had that part of the parking lot blocked off all week and until this morning nobody was there. Those pictures are from about 9:00 this morning.

Apparently, you'll be one of the few people around that has one. ;)

    This is in Singapore.

    phone-x-queue.

  14. Thank you for calling it by it's correct name of "Station Park" instead of "Farmington Station". I moved out of a house about a mile west of there earlier this year (grew up in Farmington too). For some reason when people called it "Farmington Station" it drove me nuts, especially when all the marketing clearly designates the name.

I can't believe they're expecting that many people. If I worked in those offices I'd be bugged.

I've never heard it called that. All of the marketing and signage is pretty clear, so no worries.

It does seem like a big area marked off for this. I don't know though. I've never been one to stand in line or camp out for a phone or anything else. I figure if I want it, I can wait for a few weeks until everybody cools off before I worry about it.

I looked at one today at Best Buy. I was kind of lost without the familiar Home button. The OLED display looks awesome but it kind of bugs me that OLED is susceptible to screen burn (Apple has alluded to this). The phone even has a Screen Saver feature.

Someone here must have one. Anyone? Buehler?

Did it feel like a $1,000 phone?
Aside from the colorful C series, I always thought Apple phones felt expensive.

Well value is open to discussion. But I gotta say it looks and feels like the smartphone equivalent of say a Rolex watch.

I understand. Great analogy though. That's what I was going for in my question.
I've tried a few LG phones over the years, just in the store checking them out, and to me they just felt like a bunch of plastic.
