I've got it narrowed down to these two MP3 players. If you have experience with either (or both), I'd be interested in any comments.

  2. i know nothing bout the nomad, but i have yet to hear of any serious faults with the ipod. AFAIK they are the highest quality mp3 players out there

plus they have that uber touch-spin dial :p

I got a 30gb iPod and never looked back. Its small, really small, decent sound quality, and interface is great. I use it my car and home audio systems with a patch cable and it sounds great. Already like 2700 songs at 192 kbps, and most at 320 kbps, and still like 11gb left. And the backlight is sharp too.

Awesome device, go get one and you won't be disappointed.

Anyone that tells you to get a Zen has never used an iPod.

it is THE best, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a mac-user.

I didn't think the iPod could really wow me, it's an mp3 player big whoop. but once my sister got her 15 gig, I was floored, that thing is just a dream to use, it is perfect.

they just released 40 gig models too if storage is your thing.
  5. I have almost no knowledge of either of those players

but I gotta say, all those product names with that 'i' as the first letter, really annoy me for some reason. :meh:

I've heard good things about both of 'em, though.
