I have a fender MIA Jazz Deluxe from 1998 with the Suhr electronics. Anyone know if it is safe to run this thing at 18 volts?

Okay, no responses. Hows about this... Anyone know what it might damage if I do run it at 18 volts, and its not meant to? Probably just burn out a resistor, and it'd have to be replaced. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Need more detail. Why would you do it in the first place?

Don't know about your particular elctronics, but if you run a pre-amp at 18v and it's not happy with it you're likely to burn out the op-amp, not a resistor.

If you can find the op-amp (little black square thing with eight metal pins coming out of it) and tell me what it says on top I might be able to figure it out for you.
