is 2x60 the same as 120

    im lookin at amps and i see one that says 2x60 watt speakers but then i see another that just 120 watts is that the same thing our not if not tell me me what the difference is

    it is if the amp is bridgeable. I have a hartke 7000 which is 2x350. I cant run it at 700 watts cuz its not bridgeable. What i can do is run 4 8 ohm cabs or 2 4 ohm cabs. You could do the same thing, or bridge it if the amp is bridgable. If you could bridge it you would be running either 2 8 ohm cabs at 120 watts or 1 4 ohm.
