Is a Kiloton more P, or more MM?

Note: I only wanna discuss the Kiloton--I've owned L2500s, Dingwalls, Sadowskys, Fender P and J fivers, you name it, etc etc. I don't need other suggestions, thank ya kindly.

Well, my Kiloton is a fretless, so I imagine that has some effect on it's tone - along with the Ebony fingerboard. That said? I'd say it was sorta like my '78 P-Bass; minus the mute in the bridge cover, of course. Is it more like a Stingray? Mine is a 4HH Stingray Special; it's pickups don't have the same tone as a 4H 'Ray. And, I don't solo the bridge pickup (position 1) at all - other than to check the switch... But, as a guess? They probably sound more like each other than they do a P-Bass... My Warmoth Mini-precision, OTOH? Sounds an awful lot like it's big brother. and my '17 G&L Tom Hamilton Signature ASAT bass, in passive mode, with the neck pickup solo'd? I'd say it sounds more like a P-Bass than the other two...In fact, on the rare occasions when I want to sound like everybody else's P-Bass - but don't feel like dealing with a short scale? I use the ASAT... Not sayin' you should buy one; I'm just sayin... :whistle:

I have a Fullerton G&L pbass, Stingray Special, and now this Fullerton Kiloton 5 I just picked up in July directly from their website.. To me it sounds great straight in to the amp, and takes pedals nicely (SansAmp, BassButler, YYZ). The tone is brighter than my pbass yet more aggressive than the Stingray. The B string sounds tight. And the pickup is as loud as my active basses.

I'd be willing to sell it if you are interested. I Snagged it because it had the unique 3x2 headstock, ebony board, and flame maple body/head. It weighs less than my 4 strings! I am looking at the new Spector Euro 5's instead and have this Kiloton listed.
