Is anyone here famous? That'd b cool if someone here was...
In my mind, I'm HUGE.
In my mirror I'm huge
Anyone famous wouldn't care to discuss it on Talkbass, I'm sure.
Flea, Mark Antony, Victor Wooton, Mark Hoppus ....
Jeff Berlin is famous.
why yes indeed. im more of an unknown myself.
Mark Hoppus probably is... at least I have reason to believe he is.
I wish Flea was into this. We could have some damn good discussions with him...
I have every intention of being famous, does that count?
And remember kids, being famous, doesn't mean you are neccessarily any good. I have a friend who is on his way past the whole indie biz who knew enough to ride along with the band.
I reckon JT is pretty famous, unless he stole all those Conklins to make it look like he was famous! heeheehee
And with a mullet like that? who'd argue!
Plus define fame? Is it when you get onto Entertainment Tonight? or can fame also be just being well known in some circles?
Would this apply to Mathematicians who specialised in geometry?
ba dum CHING!!!
i guess i'm kinda well known around madison...but that's hardly famous.
I am a legend in my own mind.
i bet some really famous bassist are around here, but they change their names to ben towle or something like that
Roger Sadowsky comes here often. He is famous. Any time your name is synonyomous with a great high-end bass almost guarantees fame. Sure if He walks into a room full of bass players he will get mauled. But he can walk down the street like a normal person and not be hassled. Now that's cool!
Also I will be famous for one thing or another
I'm famous only b/c my name is Jim Hendrix.. and Everyone here at the university knows me b/c i'm the really tall guy who sings really really low... (i'm on of those freak basso profundos.. i dunno how you spell it)... but I'm not world renound yet.. just wait... it will be mine.. oh yeas. it will be mine
Roger Sadowsky??!?! Here?
one word came to my mine when you said that... Fieldy
