So I rented 'The Omega Man' based on Netflix recommendations. I found it strangely amusing in a 'stop and watch the accident' way. What bothered me a bit were these facts: 1. The little girls asks Neville if he is God. He just laughs nervously. 2. His blood is going to save the world from impending doom. 3. He is killed via spear to the thorax 4. When he falls down dead his arms are extended to the sides (pressumably floating in water, though it's obvious that wouldn't happen in reality) and his feet are together one above the other. Now, I'm not one to be paranoid about my religious beliefs, but this one was pretty obvious. Have you seen this film? What is your opinion?
No, he's Moses. Sheesh. Everyone knows that.... I was just thinking about film the other day. Knock off that ESP!
More like Satan in my book. Watch Bowling for Columbine and you'll see what kind of a city douchebag he really is.
Charlton Heston is not God, far from it. That man is nothing!! I deserves a big slap (trying not to be too mean)!!
ummmmmmmmmmmmmm no? i think your wrong man. i cant see how you would even come up with something as ******** as that statement. michael moore is not a liar, he exposes people for who they really are, city douchebags.
Both you girl's cut it out! And yes, Bowling for Columbine was a masterfully edited pack of bulls***.
That movie creeped me out when I saw it as a kid. Anthony Zerbe as Matthias was really freaky. The opening scene was really scary as Heston was driving through the deserted city and playing in the background was Thelonius Monk's "Round Midnight"...You might also recall Anthony Zerbe as the disfigured leper on the island in Papillon....
Just so you know, I'm on "your side" from the sounds of things, but yeah, Michael Moore did pop in a fair share of lies and clever little editing tricks to make people seem worse then they are. It made me really mad because I like MM's politics, but if he needs to lie to get his point across, is he any worse than "the enemy?" Not trying to be political, I'm just saying lying is like a requirement in politics.
Today is Soylent Red day.....Man, another freaky Heston film that gave me the creeps....Edward G. Robinson had a spot in that one...
