So, recently I bought a set of Fender 9050 flatwounds from an ebay shop but when I went to the Fender site to get more info on them they were nowhere to found. In fact, Fender's string range seems to have been severely cut back to just 10 sets (most of which are for bass. For some reason).

Does anyone know why this should be? And are other accessories experiencing similar cut backs in scope?

I'm looking at Fender's official shop site, and I see Fender 9050s, five sets of guitar strings, and a handful of acoustic sets. That's only around a dozen sets total but seems consistent with the strings sets I remember them having.

They did change the gauge configurations some of the 9050s sets not long ago.

Perhaps the European Fender shop sells a different range of strings because I'm not seeing the 9050s there.
