Is it Abe or the TRB 5P or Both?

I play a lot of praise music on which Abraham Laboriel is the bassist. There is not another player around quite like him when it comes to number of styles he can play and play musically. I notice the clear crisp tone he gets and wonder if it can be attributed to the TRB5P he plays on most of the CDs, or something else. This question may be for the praise guys out there, but Abe is a tremendous session player as well. I ask this because I have a line on a 5P and wanted some reinforcement.

I think it is mostly Abe. Good bassists will always sound good.

Abe is well known outside of praise circles. I've seen him play some fairly strange basses...it's definitely Abe;)
