I had one. got rid of it, got a new one years later. and I remember it being a 'clicky' pedal, but everything on this badboy Pops every time i touch a switch or a knob. anyway to alleviate that besides running it in its own effects loop?

It sounds like the enclosure needs a better ground.

Remove the nuts from the two jacks and push them away from the case. Then take something like a scraper and remove the paint from around the jack mounting holes on the inside. Return the jacks to their holes and tighten the jack nuts securely.

Wow. I may have to hit him up about that. I had to rehouse mine in a larger enclosure because the stomp was so close to the switches, but I believe the naked metal helped the noise. However, if my circuit is "old" I'd love an updated one. Hhhhmmmmmm.....

Interesting. I didn't realize the circuit had been updated?

To me it just seems like it needs a few pulldown resistors here and there, but I'm not sure. The goop makes it hard to even think about doing anything yourself.

yeah the upgraded circuit quiets the pedal down significantly apparently
