is it just me or is this fodera strung incorrectly?

  1. Some people string em this way. Maybe the owner learned on a right handed bass upside down and just got used to it that way.

    Either whoever strung this has no idea how to string a bass, or they learned to play it upside down.

    It says it was ordered by Wayman Tisdale, who according to BP's interview, strings upside-down...

    Jimmy Haslip of the Yellowjackets strings his bass like that.

    Tisdale too.

    You can see Wayman playing his basses strung like this on www.tisway.com I believe. I could NEVER get used to that, but different strokes!

    Edit: as a matter of fact, there is a pic of that particular bass in the photo gallery of his page.

    I think this is the 3rd or 4th time it's been up there...

    Restringing it would be simple though...just need a new nut.

    man i would kill to have this bass!!

    I would just need someone to cut a new nut.

    i just sent out a money order for a six string warwick this morning to a fellow TB member.

    i wonder how much this thing would sell for?
     

  9. I was thinking more along the lines of the of adding a strap button to the lower horn. Hmmmmmmmmm..............
