is it stupid to buy a guyatone BR 2 (autowah) if im going the get moogerfoofer low

  1. i really like the guyatone bottom wah rocker, nice autowah, buy will i be able to get the same sound from moogerfooger low pass filter?? HELP PLEASEEEE!!!

    I'd say no the guyatone is a very very unique filter and as good as the lowpass is it doesn't sound like the guyatone.

    Also the guyatone is so cheap its always handy to have around just incase.

    I had a moogerfooger... it's really tough to get a good sound out of it. Of course, you can get amazing sounds out of it, but it's a little complicated to get just the sound you're looking for-- esp. on the fly. And it's really tough to use live.

    and it's not true bypass - which may or not matter to you. You would think for that kind of money they would make them with a TB :scowl:

    Yeah, I totally didn't get that either. For such a pricey pedal, you'd think that they would make it true bypass.
