Is it worth it ?

I have a Squier Affinity P-bass with a broken fretboard. It was my first bass, and Ive been considering fixing it up. I'm no luthier, so I would probably replace the whole neck. I would also feel obligated to replace the electronics. I could just go out and buy another crappy Squier, but I thought with a good neck and good electronics, maybe this would make a decent bass. Is it worth it ??
  2. In my opinion... NO..
For the price of rebuilding it, you could buy a better bass already in playable condition..
If you already have other basses and just want this for a "project" then that's entirely up to you.
