I just picked up a QSC PLX 3002, and I want to run one channel at 2 ohms, the other channel at 8.

I know it'll run hot at that imedance, but how stable is it at 2 ohms? So long as its in a well-vented, 6 space rack, do you think I'll have any problems with overheating/shutdown?

Not a problem. Just avoid running it up into any significant clipping.

Thanks Bob. I don't think I'll be running it to clip at all, since its going to a 4x10 cab wired at 2 ohms. I won't even begin to tap the 1500 watts available into that cab, but my, the headroom. :)
