Is that a control plate on this Precision Deluxe?

    yeah it looks like a variation of the P....look at the shape of the bass...its more contoured and such
  2. Thanks, but I already knew that.

    The model is an American Fender Deluxe, but they don't have control plates, like this one does... I was wondering if its a mod or if Fedner is putting control plates on that model now.

    It looks pretty cool.

    When shipped from the factory, there's a clear sticker attached to the pickguard that has instructions about the controls.

    It's reflecting the light in the picture, that's what it looks like to me anyway.
  4. Brianrost: Almost Dead-on, my friend. Almost.

    It's not a sticker. It's a thin piece of mylar that explains what all of the various knobs do. It's laid over the pot shafts and when the knobs are mounted, it stays in place. Take the knobs off and it simply lifts off.
