is there a doctor in the house?

  1. I think I have tendonitis or something...

This is a problem that has slowing been occuring to me the past few weeks. When I play bass or guitar, my right hand gets extremly tense right below my wrist when i play (especially when i dig in more and i need to apply more pressure) and it gets so tense and weak at the same time i have to stop playing. My left wrist also hurts, slightly higher than my right arm pains, but that only occurs when im doing alot of stretching across the fretboard. it even hurts to type this. im doing most of this typing left handed only.

i should be seeing a doctor soon, but does anyone have any advice of sorts?

...I'm afraid i might have to give up music completely :bawl:

How about the classic rest, ice, compression, elevation technique 'till you get to the doctors.

    Sounds like a good plan.
