Is there a reason behind the humming of my chorus pedal?

    Stuck on a rock !
Perhaps it doesn't know the words.... :D

Seriously though post back a few details such as make/type of pedal, are you using an AC adapter, does it only happen with certain leads etc and I'm sure we can help yer.

  2. im using a SV-1 Marshall Supervibe Chorus, with a ac adapter. If I lower the depth it seems to slightly go away...but then so does the effect.

Does using a battery reduce the humming? Then the adaptor isn't too good.

The circuitry in stompboxes usually isn't optimized for low noise, but for low cost and maybe low power consumption.

  4. my boss chorus hummed with my old ac adapter so i bought a better one... done and done.

  5. hmm, I have two different adapters...ill try both...the guy at the music store said the one I got with the pedal would be best....but the wingnut also said pedals made just for bass is a waste of money.

  6. it didn't slove the problem

  7. is there a way of removing the hum? please let me know.
