Before you get your panties in a wad and start slamming me for mentioning "Guitar" on TalkBass, I am a bass player that dabbles in six string guitars. I would like to visit a forum for guitars that is comparable to Talkbass.com. Thanks in advance.

Several forums I'm aware of but not one that quite compares to this place.

    I personally like tdpri.com

It's mostly about Telecasters, but there's plenty of discussion about other guitars. Also, there's tons of info on lutherie, and it seems like an overall wholesome forum.

Edit: I'll also add that they have a decent bass forum on there as well.

The Telecaster is the best guitar ever made, makes sense they focus on those :smug:

Bass players talk to each other - we’re comfortable in our own skins, and don’t see each others as threats. Guitarists have fragile egos, and are always boasting about how great and fast they can play.

    Try www.bragguitar.com

  17. Fragile egos, sure. Nobody plays fast. I mean they could play faster than Yngwie if they tried. They play a few notes with more soul, or so they claim. They also play packed clubs every weekend for $2,500 per person. Riiiiiiiiight.
