'Is There A Taper B' and E' Nylon For 5 String'

    Wanting to try a good Nylon set of strings for 5' string bass. And don't know of any good brands and was wanting to know if any sets had a Taper B' and E' string. Can you guys pass on a few listings or info on this. :cool: :bassist: needing :help:

    Don't know about a tapered E string, which I don't think anybody makes. But LaBella makes the best Tapered B string set out there.

    My personal experience is if you like "medium" or "regular" tension strings, go with the LaBella regulars (60-135), and if you like the feel of "light" tension strings, go with the D'Addarios or the LaBellas (50-135).

    If you want a brighter tone than typical tapes, LaBella now makes a "white" tape in both gauges.

    Fender doesn't make a B string, and to me the GHS B string is, well, just doesn't have what it takes. I have no experience with the Rotosounds.

    Of course, YMMV.
