remove the lines on a lined fretless (using some sort of chemical or something)? im thinking about getting an SX fretless jazz but i dont want lines. anyone?

  2. If it's rose wood...just use black paint...you'd still be able to see some of the lines,to get a good idea of where the proper tonation would be,and also...the audience would be suprised:)

Why are you worried about the lines? Just don't like the look of them? As long as you don't want them for looks (and not because you think that people will think less of you) then cool. It depends on the fret lines. If it's a type of paint,,,,that would be easy,,,,but if they are ingrained in it,,, then i doubt they would come out easy.

  4. I don't like fretlines,a nice naked board is cool looking:)
