  1. Is there a way to clean acoustic bass strings?

I was wondering if braso or something would be good for cleaning them.

    Any help would be appreactiated.

    Thanks :)

Do you mean like for an Acoustic/Electric bass? I'd stay away from Brasso because of the grit in the solution. You might try one of the regular string cleaners like the one from Dunlop. It seems to take tarnish off well, and it evaporates so you don't have to worry about stuff seeping in between the windings and the core and deadening the sound.

    Hope this helps.
