Is there an ESP b-50? (not LTD)

    So I'm thinking of buying this second hand bass, the guy says it's an ESP b-50. It says b-50 on the neck and esp on the headstock bit I've looked into and can't find any b-50s that aren't LTD. I've heard about these basses having many cheap copies from China so I'm wondering if I should trust this guy or no?

    I would quite confidently say it's a fake.

    I'm thinking no, unless it's some type of weird prototype ltd b50 that has an esp logo. For instance I have a Viper 300m prototype with the "Deluxe" inlay on the headstock even though it doesn't carry all the same features as a real ltd deluxe, and the final 300m design was also not a ltd deluxe.
