Is there anything cooler than a black/black precision with a maple fretboard?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Marcus, Mar 4, 2006.

  1. I've played one recently at a local shop and I was blown away by the tone that came out of the thing. It was a chameleon, I sat and rocked it for a good hour before looking at the price tag (~1000.00), checking my funds at an ATM (~5.00), and proceeding to cry.

Can you guys fuel my g.a.s and flood this thread with black on black precision style instruments with a maple board?

    You asked for it

Get a CIJ '57RI, stick a B/W/B pickguard on it and you're set. At least, that's what I did to mine.

Me like. I purchased a similarly colored, though not Fender bass.
