I have 2 Fender 5-strings with alder bodies and pau ferro boards, so something has to go. I have offered my Fender Roscoe Beck 5-string to someone who will swap a Yamaha TRB5P for it, even-up. The Yamaha is a neck-thru with a piezo bridge (something none of my other basses have) and a maple body (I don't have a maple-bodied 5, either). So it has cool features I'd like to have in my "stable" of basses. But still, is the DEAL good?
