Is this a good Amp/Cab combination?

    ...I play in an Alternative/Pop/Experimental band.

    I'm obviously looking for something small, compact, and loud enough for small and mid sized venues

  5. Well, if it helps any, Im going to have that exact rig except sub in a 1212 for the 1210. I like thickness.

    I use a Mesa 400+ and a 1212 and it sounds great.

    For some reason those pics look very familiar.....

    Yes, that's a rockin' combo! I did a few gigs with those and had PLENTY of volume. Schroeders just aren't my sound though. (the EB auction ends in 2 hours) (I'm keeping the head for now)

    I haven't had the chance to try one out myself but from what I've read here on TalkBass the Thunderfunk would be a good head to go with the 1210.

    A couple others would be a Walter Woods, the Epifani 502 or smallest yet, the Acoustic Image Focus.
    It's small, light and 600watts @ 4ohms.

    That would give you what I bought myself; Focus/1210.
