Howdy, So my friend text messaged me today and asked if I wanted her uncle's old fretless Jazz bass. When I asked her what year it was, she was stumped. Its a japanese Fender Jazz fretless in sunburst. Apparently he bought it while on tour in Japan when Jaco was the biggest thing since sliced bread (her quote not mine.) He played it a grand total of twice before putting it in its case and bringing it home to the US but never got around to it. Fast forward about 20 years, and now I get the text. The bass is $350. Should I take it or steer clear or what? I wouldn't have to pay for about a month or so by the way, but if he shipped me the bass I'd have to buy it.
Don't talk about cleansing pallettes around GE. *Shudder* Jizz taco. What the hell man? What the hell? EDIT: This is pre-urban-dictionary, and still involving my image of 3 Mexican men at a Taco Bell. Disregard.
It's not bad at all, but seriously, that image, in my head, was not at all, what I wanted to see. No at all.
Buy it immediately..or make sure you sell it to me!!! Seriously....PM me and I'll give ya MY cell # so you can text me.
I've already got a bunch of PMs! Well if I don't like it, its up for grabs to another TBer, and then if that doesn't work out, you're next in line.
Whats wrong with texting? I do like a gold old fashioned letter exchange via the pony express myself.
Nothing at all, I text all the time. I just haven't deducted man points for a while. I've started taking them from religious figures, I figured that's about where I draw the line. But yes, the pony express will never die. Never.
