Is this a good deal on an Epifani/Eden rig?

I found a nice rig on craigslist that is an eden wp100 pre-amp, eden wt1000 power-amp, and epifani310ul cabinet.

The price is at $2,200. I'm thinking about it and was wondering if you guys have opinions on this rig. It seems be be a great price.

While that is a nice setup, for that kind of money, I think you can do better. 2 Aggie 1x12's and a nice pre-power setup would bring you well under that price! I don't feel you need to spend $1K each for a frikkin power amp or cab no matter what name is on the box!

    maybe it's a good deal.

i can say that the epifani 310UL is a phenomenal box worth its selling price and the navigator is a heck of a preamp. the poweramp isnt so bad, but it's not the best out there either.

i really can't tell you what the going used rate is on all that stuff but im sure a little digging would reveal that.

  4. I generally want to pay 2/3 new or 1/2 list for used gear.

    2/3 $2800 = $1867
    1/2 $3550 = $1775

So, $1800 would be a good deal. $2200 would not.

I don't have experience with those Eden units, but the Epifani 310UL is pretty awesome.

I agree that the cab is the shiznit bit I just can't justify spending that much money on one!! I'd like to see Avatar come up with a 3x10 cab!

Way overpriced. $1700-1800 is more reasonable. Maybe $2000 if it was all in dead mint condition with covers, and a rack.
